The signing ceremony was held at the Ministry of Finance, via an online platform, in accordance with the protocol on high-level online ceremonies.
On that occasion, Mali pointed out that by signing today's agreement, the Republic of Serbia joined another important program of the European Union.
He emphasized that our country once again shows its commitment to participate in community programs as a candidate country and future member, thereby strengthening competition and better preparing for full integration in the internal market.
By participating in this programme, domestic small and medium-sized enterprises will have the opportunity to improve their competitiveness, internationalize their operations and better prepare themselves to meet the challenges of the single market through various support instruments, and especially through the continuation of the work of the European Entrepreneurship Network in Serbia.
The programme includes special invitations for the development of clusters, tourism infrastructure and youth entrepreneurship, Mali said.
The signing of the Agreement on the Single Market represents the continuation of long-term cooperation with the EU in the field of competitiveness, given that Serbia has been participating in the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Program since 2008.
