Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic Roberto Álvarez discussed today, in a telephone conversation, the directions for further improvement of bilateral relations.
Đurić invited Minister Álvarez to visit Serbia, expressing his belief that more frequent contacts of the highest representatives of the two countries would contribute to the construction of new bridges of cooperation.
According to him, Serbia is particularly interested in more intensive cooperation within regional organizations in which our country has observer status, such as the Organization of American States, the Association of Caribbean States and the Caribbean Community.
The heads of diplomacy also discussed a number of regional issues, as well as topics of wider international importance.
