Government gives clear message that conditions have not been met for Kosovo Serbs to be called to go to polls

Director of the Serbian government’s Office of Media Relations Milivoje Mihajlovic said today that it is in the interest of the Serbian community in Kosovo-Metohija to establish lasting and stable peace there and resolve all problems through dialogue.
Mihajlovic said in a statement to Beta news agency that the Serbian government gave a clear message that conditions have not been met for the Serbian population to be called to take part in the upcoming elections in Kosovo-Metohija.
These elections should not be the motive for any tensions and unrest among Kosovo Serbs who should not be taken in by any attempts of provocation, the Director of the Office of Media Relations concluded.
