Tomorrow extraordinary session concerning ICJ’s advisory opinion

Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic has summoned an extraordinary government session for tomorrow to analyse the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
Cvetkovic said that the government believes the ICJ’s opinion demands thorough analysis, announcing that a diplomatic initiative will be launched to prepare Serbia for a debate at the UN General Assembly.
He declared that the government will contemplate guidelines for solving the issue of Kosovo-Metohija, calling upon all Serbian citizens, especially those in the southern province, not to respond to any provocation.
The Prime Minister recalled Serbia’s stance that a solution to the province’s issue can only be reached through dialogue which will lead to lasting and stable peace in the region.
