On behalf of the Government and citizens of Serbia, Vučević expressed gratitude for the support received from the Government of the Russian Federation and the Gamaleya institute during the COVID-19 pandemic. He highlighted the importance of Russian vaccine deliveries and the exchange of information, which played a crucial role in saving lives.
The Prime Minister expressed Serbia’s interest in further cooperation, particularly in the project to develop a vaccine against oncological diseases, an area where the institute is achieving exceptional results through an innovative approach.
Emphasising that there is a significant industrial and scientific capacity for the production of vaccines in Serbia, Gintsburg assessed that future cooperation will focus on joint research and development of vaccines, as well as knowledge exchange to enhance the health care systems of both countries.
