Born in 1973 in Belgrade, where he graduated from the First Belgrade Gymnasium. He earned his bachelor’s, master’s and PhD degrees from the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade.

From 2000 to 2003, he was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Science and Technology. He received professional training at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, the Alternative Academic Educational Network and the Belgrade Open School.

He attended the Development of Democracy and Identity Politics programme, New School for Social Research, New York and the Democracy and Diversity Institute in Krakow, Poland.

Since 2003, he has been employed full-time at the Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Belgrade, where he earned the title of Associate Professor teaching Philosophy with Ethics, Media Education and Education for Democracy and Civil Society.

He has written two independent books and one co-authored book, and is the co-author of a new edition of a textbook for Philosophy for secondary schools, published by the Institute for Textbooks and Teaching Aids in Belgrade.

He is the author of numerous articles in the fields of ethics, philosophy and communication studies, and is a professional reviewer in recognised scientific journals in Serbia.

He is a member of the Philosophical Society of Serbia.
