Born in 1961 in Belgrade. She graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade. She has passed the bar exam.

From 2014 until her election as Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, she served as State Secretary at the ministry.

From 2012 to 2014, she was Assistant Minister of Construction and Urban Planning, responsible for the work of the sector dealing with the issuance of building and occupancy permits, licences in the field of construction, energy efficiency in buildings, development land, administrative and legal supervision in the field of construction and the state survey and cadastre.

From 2004 to 2012, she served as Assistant Minister at the Ministry of Capital Investments, the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Mining, Spatial Planning and Urban Planning.

From 1987 to 2004, she held roles as an advisor, assistant chief of staff and chief of property, legal, construction and utility and housing affairs at the City of Belgrade’s Municipality of Savski Venac. Previously, for two years, she worked as a trainee lawyer in the field of civil and criminal law.

She has participated in a large number of international, regional and national conferences and meetings, as a speaker and panellist, in the fields of regulating property relations over development land, improving energy efficiency in building construction, green building, construction and demolition waste management, improving administrative procedures in the area of ​​issuing building permits (introducing electronic building permits in the procedures for issuing construction documents) and legalisation of buildings.

She has participated in all working groups for the drafting of laws and implementing regulations in the field of spatial and urban planning, construction and legalisation from 2003 to the present.

She was in charge of the implementation of several state projects (construction of the Avala Tower, flood restoration in Jaša Tomić, post-landslide restoration in the territory of the Republic of Serbia).

Upon invitation, she participated in the drafting of laws in the field of state survey and cadastre, restitution of confiscated property to previous owners, roads and other laws.

She is a member of the government’s Working Group for the selection of the concessionaire and upon the selection of the concessionaire, a member of the Working Group for monitoring the concession for Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, as well as a member of the Management Board of the Civil Aviation Directorate.

She is the recipient of the National Alliance for Local Economic Development’s (NALED) award for 2023 for improving conditions for construction investments.
