Joksimovic said that the total value of this project for four border municipalities - Subotica and Apatin in Serbia, and Osijek and Djakovo in Croatia is €560,000, of which Subotica received the biggest grant of €267,000.
She assessed that in Subotica, where there is a big population of senior citizens and insufficient percentage of the young, this project is a good opportunity for the government to show social responsibility towards our oldest fellow citizens.
Subotica is indeed a good example, it proved to be a self-government that has done a good job, especially in cross-border cooperation, the Minister said and pointed out that marking the first anniversary of the government's work in this city is just one indicator of how much this government values a balanced regional development.
