The Serbian government passed today new decisions aimed at curbing the spread of the COVID-19 virus, including the decision to suspend international passenger traffic from Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport until further notice.
This decision enters into force today at 12.00 and all airplanes that have taken off from their departure destinations by that time will be able to land safely to the Belgrade airport.
Self-isolation measures are binding for all passengers that land and their violation will be strictly controlled and punished in line with the law.
The government passed a decision that the closure of public service counters does not apply to the Tax Administration, Customs Administration and the Treasury Administration since their closure would disturb the smooth functioning of the state, especially during the period of the state of emergency.
All government measures and decisions passed in the previous period, as well as those to be taken in the days to come, have the solely purpose of protecting life and health of all citizens of the Republic of Serbia.
The Serbian government urges once more all citizens, especially the elderly, to fully respect the government’s instructions aimed at protecting their health.
