One more site for vaccination against coronavirus was opened today at Hall 3 of the Belgrade Fair, consisting of 24 booths for medical check-ups and 28 vaccination booths.
Belgrade Deputy Mayor Goran Vesic said that with this newly-opened vaccination site it will be possible to inoculate approximately 8,000 people at the Fair in next two days.
He expressed the expectation that by the end of the week, this number will grow to between 10,000 and 11,000 citizens.
Vesic stated that volunteers in Belgrade call centres that provide help to citizens over 65 regarding the vaccination have so far called more than 50,000 of them.
Of that number, around 14,000 citizens applied for vaccination via the e-Administration portal, whereas over 1,200 received help with transportation to the vaccination site.
Apart from Hall 3, the vaccination at the Belgrade Fair is also carried out at Hall 11.
