Minister without portfolio in charge of innovations and technological development Nenad Popovic stated that 40,000 doses of the Russian vaccine "Sputnik V" arrived in Serbia this morning.
Popovic, who this morning received a plane with vaccines at the "Nikola Tesla" Airport in Belgrade, said in a statement for the Tanjug agency that 20,000 doses of the first and 20,000 doses of the second component of the vaccine were delivered.
He expressed the expectation that other quantities of a total of two million doses of the Russian vaccine "Sputnik V" will be delivered during February and March.
Also, the Minister stated that the arrival of Russian experts in Serbia is expected on 11 February, who will talk with our experts about how to start the production of Russian vaccines at the "Torlak" Institute in Belgrade as soon as possible.
