Minister without portfolio in charge of innovation and technological development Nenad Popovic attended early this morning at the Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow the loading of 50,000 doses of the Sputnik V vaccine, which were then transported to Belgrade by Air Serbia aircraft.

Today vaccines are more worth than gold and are important to us to save the health and lives of people, but also for the economy and to return to normal life, underlined Popovic, who is also co-chairman of the Intergovernmental committee for cooperation between Serbia and Russia.
According to him, if Serbia continues with this pace of vaccination it can be the first one to defeat the pandemic, to continue to strengthen the economy and attract investments and make its role of the economic leader in this part of Europe even stronger.
Upon delivery to the Belgrade airport, the vaccines were transported to Institute “Torlak”, from where they will be distributed to vaccination sites across Serbia.
