Additional financial support in the amount of RSD 3,000 is planned for all citizens of Serbia who have been vaccinated so far and all those who will receive at least the first dose of the vaccine by 31 May.
From 1 June to 15 June, a portal will be opened through the website of the Treasury Administration for citizens to apply for this financial assistance.
An amendment to the Government Conclusion of 2 April 2020 was adopted, according to which a salary compensation in the amount of 100 percent of the basis for salary would be paid only to the employees who are on sick leave due to the COVID-19 infectious disease, and are vaccinated against COVID-19, as well as to the employees who for health reasons cannot get vaccinated.
The remaining employees who contract COVID-19 would be paid only 65 percent of their salary during the sick leave.
The government adopted the Bill on amendments to the Law on Identity Card, the main goal of which is the implementation of the government's "Stop the Red Tape" project, which refers to reducing administrative costs for Serbian citizens when declaring an ID card invalid.
The government also adopted the text of the Memorandum of Understanding between the government of the Republic of Serbia and the government of the United Arab Emirates on technical conditions and methods of electronic validation of COVID-19 vaccination certificates and testing certificates.
The Bill on Protection of Business Secrets was adopted, which harmonises the system of protection of business secrets with the relevant regulations of the European Union.
This bill protects the investments of economic entities in the acquisition, development and application of knowledge and experience and other information that provides them with an advantage over the competition.
The government adopted a conclusion which creates the conditions for Serbia to accept the Charter on the Green Bridge Partnership Programme, which currently has 16 European countries and 16 non-governmental organisations as members.
Serbia's accession creates a framework for cooperation with signatory countries, with the idea of accelerating the global transition to a green economy by promoting technologies and best practices.
