The Serbian government adopted today an amended decision on the temporary ban on export of basic agricultural products important to the population, on the basis of which food products of organic origin are exempted from the export ban.
Bearing in mind that organic production in Serbia takes place on small areas and that it is just starting to be developed, as well as the fact that these products are mainly intended for export, the government concluded that exempting these products from the ban on exports does not harm the domestic market and the food safety of the population.
The government passed the Conclusion on giving consent to paying employees in social welfare whose work is being financed fully or partially from the budget of the Republic of Serbia, a one-off financial assistance in the amount of RSD 10,000 per employee.
A total of RSD 86,550,000 has been set aside from the budget to that purpose for a total of 7,789 employees.
This decision was made after representative trade unions pointed to the fact that during the coronavirus pandemic there was a large disproportion in salaries, and health workers employed in the system of social welfare started receiving considerably higher wages in relation to other professionals and workers who are the bearers of the system of social welfare and without whom no institution of that type can perform its basic function.
The government adopted the Decree on issuing a semi-postal stamp: “Red Cross Week” in the period from 8 May to 15 May 2022 in the amount of RSD 10 and in 750,000 copies.
Funds collected in this way will be used for the realisation of the programme: “Efficient Disaster Response – Boosting Capacity of the Red Cross for Disaster Relief – Year 2022”.
