At the conference on the application of digital solutions in traditional industries, which is organised by the Centre for Digital Transformation of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce with the support of the government of Serbia, Brnabic pointed out that the application of artificial intelligence is extremely important for the future and competitiveness of our economy, but also for increasing wages and pensions and creation of added value.
The Prime Minister stated that the government of Serbia, as it has insisted on digital transformation until now, will continue to insist on further transformation and transition.
The priority will be the application of artificial intelligence, we will work with micro, small and medium enterprises to use that intelligence to increase productivity, the Prime Minister explained.
She noted that our further sources of growth can be either rapid growth in productivity or the import of labour and as she explained productivity can only be achieved through the use of modern technologies, investment in equipment and the use of artificial intelligence.
President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce Marko Cadez pointed out that the question that is being asked now is no longer what artificial intelligence can do, but how to find the best connection between human and artificial intelligence, which would be used in the creation of new products and services.
According to him, artificial intelligence is little used for innovation and the creation of new products and services, and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce will work to promote this in the coming period.
We plan to increase the number of companies that we will support and that will go through the process of digital transformation to be able to use artificial intelligence. Our goal is to connect the technological community with traditional industry, he concluded.
