At today's session, the government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Bill amending the 2022 Budget Law for 2022, which foresees total revenues and incomes in the amount of RSD 1,709.5 billion.
Tax revenues planned by the budget rebalancing are RSD 1,490.6 billion, non-tax revenues are RSD 199.7 billion, and expenditures are RSD 1,988.5 billion.
RSD 419.2 billion, or 5.9 percent of GDP, was set aside for capital investment, while at the level of the general government, that figure is around RSD 512.7 billion, or 7.2 percent of GDP.
The ministers also adopted the Bill on the Temporary Register of Citizens of the Republic of Serbia aged 16 to 29, on the basis of which young people of that population will be paid an amount of RSD 5,000 each, the method of payment and other issues that are important for obtaining this financial aid will be regulated.
The condition for receiving assistance is that they are between the ages of 16 and 29 on the day this law enters into force, that they are citizens of the Republic of Serbia and that they reside in the territory of Serbia.
After entering basic personal data on the portal of the Treasury Administration at idp.trezor.gov.rs (personal ID number, identity card number and bank name), they will be given an application whose status they will be able to check there, and application will be enabled from 1 to 15 December 2022.
In order to receive the money, it is necessary for all young people to apply, regardless of whether they have previously applied for assistance provided by the state, and to have a valid identity card at the time of application.
At the same time, the money will be paid to recipients of financial social assistance and to persons in the Institute for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions without submitting an application, that is, automatically.
The government adopted and amended the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance, which foresees a nine percent increase in pensions for November this year.
