Begovic presented the project to journalists from Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Croatia and Montenegro as part of "Pulse Europe".
The Minister pointed out that Serbia is open to cooperation with everyone, thanks to its geographical position in Southeast Europe, as it is located at the crossroads between the European Union and Asia.
She added that Serbia is open to the development of business and new opportunities and stressed that a lot has been invested in the development of ecosystem and infrastructure innovations, pointing out that the science and technology parks in Nis, Belgrade, Novi Sad and Cacak are confirmation of that development.
According to her, science and technology parks offer laboratories for product development, a network of mentors, an environment of high-tech companies, connection with potential partners and investors, knowledge exchange and other necessary assistance for faster development.
Serbia has recently established the first artificial intelligence research and formed the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy, it was presented, among other things, in a presentation to foreign journalists.
Before visiting the government of Serbia, a group of journalists from abroad who visited Serbia for the first time visited "Digital Serbia".
The aim of the visit was to familiarise journalists with the topic of innovation and digital development of the country.
General Director of the "Digital Serbia" Initiative Nebojsa Bjelotomic presented a lecture and a short film about the progress in the digitalisation of Serbia and start-ups in the previous five years, emphasising that a great step forward has been achieved in this field, stating that the chances for the development of these areas are great.
