By confirming the additional protocol, cooperation with member states of the Council of Europe and other signatory states of this convention is improved.
In addition, more effective mutual assistance and other forms of cooperation between competent authorities are enabled in order to conduct specific criminal investigations or procedures using additional tools, as well as cooperation in emergency situations.

The government has adopted the proposal of the text of the letter of intent, which requests the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to conclude within the third review of the current Policy Coordination Instrument and approve the new stand-by arrangement and the text of the Memorandum on Economic and Financial Policy with a technical memorandum of understanding.
The new arrangement, which will last for the next two years, will be approved by the Executive Board of the IMF during December. It is intended for urgent external and fiscal needs produced by global economic challenges, as well as for supporting the government's macroeconomic policy, structural reforms, with a focus on the energy sector.
At the session, the Circular Economy Development Programme in the Republic of Serbia for the period 2022 to 2024 was adopted, as a complex and comprehensive document that defines the areas of waste management, water, renewable energy sources and energy efficiency.
This document defines the priorities for the next three years and lays the foundation for the further development of the circular economy and the creation of a stimulating environment for the development of the green transition in Serbia.
In this way, it will be possible to further contribute to sustainable development and climate neutrality in order to preserve people's health and raise citizens' awareness of the importance of environmental protection.
