Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture Maja Gojkovic stated today, opening the Mediana archaeological site in Nis, that this project is the result of ten years of joint work of the Republic of Serbia, the government, the Ministry of Culture, the City of Nis, but above all the National Museum.

She announced that in a few days the two missing mosaics will be available to the public, which will ensure the complete completion of the coverage of that archaeological site.
The Ministry of Culture allocated RSD 185 million for this investment, Gojkovic specified, and announced the continuation of cooperation with that local self-government.
Director of the National Museum of Nis Vesna Crnoglavac pointed to the importance of presenting the legacy of the greatest Roman emperor Constantine, and the readiness to nurture, preserve and present the archaeological and cultural heritage in the right way.
According to her, visitors will be able to see the residential part and other facilities spread over four hectares.
