The Serbian government adopted today the Action Plan for the implementation of the Government Programme, which elaborates priority goals, results and deadlines for their achievement.
The aim of this Action Plan is higher-quality management of public policies and improvement of the system of strategic management of priority goals, strengthening of elements of "top-down" planning and implementation of mechanisms for the realisation and monitoring of those goals based on defined results that should be achieved within the given period.
The government adopted the Decision on the formation of the National Consumer Protection Council, which, as an expert advisory body, will work on the improvement of the consumer protection system and the cooperation of competent authorities, organisations and other bearers of consumer protection.
The government adopted the Decree on determining the programme for allocating grants for the purchase of a country house with a garden in the territory of the Republic of Serbia for the year 2023.
The aim of this programme is to reduce migratory population flows that lead to depopulation in rural areas, motivate the rural population to stay in the countryside and encourage young people to return to the countryside by solving their housing issue.
The expected effect of this programme is the settlement of approximately 300 country houses with gardens in rural areas, and RSD 500 million has been set aside for this purpose.
The government amended the Decision on the temporary ban on export of EN 590 Euro Diesel in order to ensure a safe supply of the domestic market with petroleum products. The extension of the temporary ban on export of this petroleum product is valid until 31 March 2023.
The Decree on limitation of the price of petroleum products relating to Euro Diesel and BMB 95 Euro Premium was adopted and will be valid until 3 March 2023.
Also, the Decision on temporary reduction of excise tax on petroleum products allowed for the temporary reduction in excise tax on gas oils, leaded and unleaded gasoline by five percent until the end of March this year.
The government also amended the Decree on the limitation of prices of basic foodstuffs, which will be in effect until 31 March 2023, and it was adopted in order to protect the market by preventing deformations in the formation of prices that are extremely important for supplying consumers.
