Prime Minister Ana Brnabic presided over the session of the Council for the Coordination of Activities and Measures for the Growth of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), where it was stated that the projected growth will be achieved in the first quarter of 2023 and that the results in January are better than expected.

Brnabic pointed out that Serbia is expected to reach economic growth of 2.5 percent this year.
At the meeting, it was pointed out that in order to preserve sustainable economic growth, further investment in capital projects in the field of road, railway and health infrastructure is necessary.
The Prime Minister emphasised that the field of information technology achieved excellent results last year and that it is necessary to surpass them in 2023, since this field represents the future and one of the key areas for increasing economic growth.
She said that special emphasis was placed on expanding to new markets for the export of domestic products.
