Minister of Information and Telecommunications Mihailo Jovanovic attended today the ceremonial presentation of a certificate to the State Data Center from Kragujevac by the company TÜVIT according to the EN 50600 standard for meeting the highest level of reliability, security and equipment and data storage efficiency - certificate for Class 4.

Jovanovic pointed out that the International Certificate EN 50600 of Class 4 is one more indicator that we as a country, our institutions and experts, with our knowledge and commitment, have managed to position ourselves as a regional leader in digital transformation and become one of the most developed countries in Europe when it comes to reliability and security of data and equipment storage.
EN 50600 is a European standard that refers to the design, construction and management of data centers and similar digital infrastructures. For now, only eight data centers in Western European countries have the certificate for Class 4, so the State Data Center in Kragujevac is the first from Eastern and Southeastern Europe.
The TÜVIT certificate according to the EN 50600 Class 4 standard confirmed that the State Data Center in Kragujevac was built according to the most modern standards, that it operates according to the highest level of security and risk management.
The company TÜVIT is part of the TÜV Nord Group and is an independent agency for assessing infrastructure standards for IT services.
