Mentoring programme for high school graduates in creative industries

The government of the Republic of Serbia announced today that the national platform "Serbia Creates" is launching a free mentoring programme "Creative Career" intended for high school graduates in Serbia interested in professional development in one of the fields of creative industries - film, music , theater, gaming, animation, photography, which will be held from 1 February to 31 March 2024.

Applications can be sent until 31 December to the website srbijastvara.rs.

During the programme, six top professionals from the creative industries will provide support and guidance to graduates, and all sessions will be held online.

The programme comes as a response to the growing need of the sector of creative industries for highly educated staff and missing profiles. It is the youngest and fastest growing sector in Serbia with a contribution to GDP of around six percent, which employs as many as 45 percent of highly educated young people between the ages of 20 and 45.

The number of employees in the sector has increased by as much as 37% in the last five years, while the total export of creatine industries of Serbia has increased by an incredible 80%.

The "Serbia Creates" platform, as part of the Office of the Prime Minister, continuously and systematically supports the development of the creative sector in Serbia, paying particular attention to the formation of highly educated personnel, through all levels of formal education.
