At the panel dedicated to the circular economy within the Italy-Serbia Business Forum "Green Transition: New Opportunities for Bilateral Cooperation", which was attended by a large number of Italian and Serbian businessmen, Momirović stated that agricultural and food products, when it comes to our total exports to Italy, participated with a share of 17.1 percent, a third of which was cereals, while the total export amounted to more than 300 million euros.
The Minister pointed out that Italy is also the first export market for fodder for our farmers.
As he stated, we place more than a third of the total export of livestock feed from Serbia to the world on this market, and these data clearly show how strategically important Italy is as a trade partner of Serbia.
Momirović said that Serbia and Italy are traditionally very close trade partners, as evidenced by the total trade exchange in 2023, which amounted to €4.5 billion, of which our exports were approximately two billion euros.
The business forum in Trieste, in addition to Prime Minister of Serbia Miloš Vučević and ministers in the government of Serbia and Italy, is attended by a large number of businessmen from both countries.
