Prime Minister Miloš Vučević hosted students from Kosovo and Metohija today at the Palace of Serbia and expressed his gratitude to them for staying with their families in the province.
Vučević told the children from Kosovo and Metohija that they are not guests in Belgrade, but that they are in their only capital city.
As long as you are there, there is Serbia in Kosovo and Metohija. Without the people and without our church, there is no state, Vučević said.
The Prime Minister pointed out that children from Kosovo and Metohija, unfortunately, have much more difficult conditions for growing up than their friends in other parts of Serbia, because the situation in the province is very difficult for our people.
He said that in the municipalities in Kosovo and Metohija where the children come from, the reconstruction of all three schools they attend has been helped.
He sent them a request to stay living in Kosovo and Metohija, with the wish that, as far as possible, they have a carefree childhood and to visit other parts of Serbia.
