Serbia will not allow violence, pogrom against Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija

Prime Minister Miloš Vučević today strongly condemned the intrusion of members of the special unit of the so-called Kosovo police into the buildings of the Provisional Authorities in four Serbian municipalities in the north of Kosovo and Metohija - Kosovska Mitrovica, Leposavić, Zvečan and Zubin Potok, and asked for an immediate and sharpest reaction from the international community.

Vučević stated that if during all this time, since the regime of Albin Kurti has started attacking the Serbs with long pipes, there had been different reactions except for silence and ignoring the violence and criminalisation of the north of Kosovo and Metohija by Albin Kurti, perhaps we would not be seeing the images of this terrible violence today.

Vučević pointed out that it is obvious that Albin Kurti has set out to realise his plan, which is to expel and extinguish everything that is Serbian, including Serbian institutions in Kosovo and Metohija.

It is indicative that Albin Kurti ordered his last showdown with the Serbs right after the end of the two-day visit to Serbia by French President Emmanuel Macron, the Prime Minister added.

Vučević pointed out that Serbia has sent a clear message that it firmly stands for peace and stability in the region, but will not allow violence and pogrom against its people.

Solely one side is to blame for the escalation of violence in Kosovo and Metohija - the regime of Albin Kurti and he showed that again today. Serbs are living under his terror and this must be stopped urgently! Vučević stated.
