Prime Minister Miloš Vučević met today with Russian power grid company Rosseti Executive Director Andrey Ryumin to discuss options to enhance cooperation.
Vučević said that Serbia and Russia have a long-standing friendship and cooperation in a range of sectors, including fuels and energy.
Serbia is interested in deepening cooperation in the energy sector, particularly regarding innovation, exchange of experiences, education, renewable energy sources, and other strategic areas, the Prime Minister said.
He noted that Rosseti’s innovation centres are pivotal in strengthening the energy sector, highlighting this as an area where it is particularly important to forge cooperation.
Ryumin pointed out the ample potential for direct collaboration in the power sector, adding that Rosseti, the largest power grid company in Russia, is interested in expanding cooperation.
