Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Jelena Begović met with Bavarian State Minister for Science and Art Markus Blume during her official visit to Munich.
Begović announced that the first Serbia-Bavaria scientific and innovation forum will be organised in February in Belgrade, the two main topics of which will be biotechnology and artificial intelligence.
She concluded that Serbia is on the right track because it has recognised the importance of these areas, which are important for the future of innovation and science, but also for the further development of the economy.
During her visit to Munich, the Minister also met with representatives of IZB Munich - Innovation and Start-Up Centre for Biotechnology.
The Serbian delegation presented the BIO4 Campus and received confirmation that we are very much on the right track, that we have recognised the right areas that definitely represent the future of science, innovation development, as well as the future of economic development, she added.
