Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić met with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Western Balkans Alexander Kasanof today, expressing his satisfaction during the meeting with the dynamics of the high-level political dialogue and reiterating Serbia’s commitment to improving bilateral relations with the United States in all areas.

The head of Serbian diplomacy also conveyed great concern over the increasing threat to the security and survival of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, adding that the continuous pressures, coercion and unbearable living conditions to which our people in the province are exposed are the result of unilateral, provocative and violent moves of the provisional institutions in Priština.
The Minister informed Kasanof about the numerous steps taken by Serbia in the process of European integration, singling out the Reform Agenda, which the Government of Serbia recently adopted with the aim of accelerating the implementation of all initiated reforms – political, legal, judicial, economic and others – by 2027.
