Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić talked today at the Palace of Serbia with President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Pia Kauma about the improvement of cooperation in the field of security and the further support of this organisation to strengthening the capacity of the Ministry of the Interior.

Dačić pointed out the importance of cooperation so far, assessing that there is room for its improvement through the implementation of various projects aimed at increasing the capacity of the Ministry of the Interior and training police officers in the field of prevention and effective response in the fight against organised crime, corruption, terrorism, human trafficking and high-tech crime.
The President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly underlined that the preservation of the rule of law, the strengthening of human and minority rights, as well as security sector reforms are what this organisation is mainly committed to.
Kauma also said that the OSCE Mission to Serbia will continue to provide support to the Ministry of the Interior in all areas of importance in order to achieve even greater security for all citizens.
