Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić met today with Prime Minister of Tuvalu Feleti Teo.
Expressing satisfaction over the fact that the visit of Prime Minister Teo is the first bilateral visit of a high official of Tuvalu to Serbia, Đurić said that our country is determined to further strengthen the political dialogue and overall cooperation with Tuvalu.
In this sense, the head of Serbian diplomacy expressed his belief that the strengthening of political dialogue and visits at the high and highest level will contribute to a stronger connection and provide solid ground for the development of bilateral relations between Serbia and Tuvalu.
Đurić and the Prime Minister of Tuvalu signed after today's meeting the Agreement between the government of the Republic of Serbia and the government of Tuvalu on the abolition of visas for holders of ordinary passports, according to a statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
