Prime Minister Miloš Vučević today talked with representatives of the Socio-Economic Council about cooperation with the government and the issues of importance for social dialogue in our country.
Vučević underlined that he is extremely satisfied with the agreement reached on the minimum wage, the effects of which will be monitored and analysed, and added that it is necessary to continue cooperation on the issues of importance for economic policy, as well as the material, social and economic position of employees and employers in the coming year.
Representatives of the Socio-Economic Council stressed that employers in Serbia are satisfied with the business climate, pointing out that exchange rate stability and regular payments of state obligations are key factors for business security.
The meeting also looked at the importance of collective agreements, which aim to improve the legislative framework and are the key to reducing inequalities and differences in regional development in the country.
Representatives of the Socio-Economic Council stated that cooperation with other countries is important for the process of project development and exchange of experiences, and announced the signing of an agreement with the National Social and Economic Council of Hungary.
The Prime Minister stated that Serbia will conduct a responsible social dialogue in which all partners will be included, and announced regular meetings with representatives of the Socio-Economic Council, the Serbian government and line ministries.
