Prime Minister Miloš Vučević stated today that he is proud of the Serbian Armed Forces and the great progress that has been achieved in their equipment and modernisation, while at the same time improving the standard of members of the Serbian Armed Forces and employees of the Ministry of Defence.

Vučević, who attended the New Year's reception of the Ministry of Defence at the Guard House in Topčider, said that no easy times are ahead of us, but that he expects that we will all together, gathered around the most important national interests, ensure peace, stability and further progress of our country.
In the year ahead of us, we will also organise the largest military parade on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. This great anniversary for our libertarian people and our army, which is the strength of our homeland, is just one of the events that await us in 2025, the Prime Minister announced.
We continue to strengthen our army and preserve peace, he said and wished all members of the Serbian Armed Forces happy Christmas and New Year holidays that are coming.
