Serbian national team player Dušan Mandić has been named the world’s best water polo player by the World Aquatics Federation, the Olympic Committee of Serbia announced.

This award comes after Mandić’s outstanding success with the national team, winning gold at the Paris Olympics this year, where he was named the tournament’s best player with 26 goals.
In addition to the gold medal in Paris, Mandić also won the same award at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro and 2021 Tokyo Olympics, while he won a bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics.
