Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Jelena Begović stated today that the topic of the second day of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos was the use of new technologies.

Begović, who held a series of bilateral meetings with representatives of other countries and international organisations during the second day of the gathering in Davos, stated that the topic was the way in which artificial intelligence, biotechnology, bioinnovations and similar technologies affect the labour market, as well as what countries must do to prepare the population for such changes.
According to her, the conclusion of the second day of the WEF Annual Meeting is that 170 million new jobs will be created by 2030, which will require knowledge in the field of new technologies.
