The government adopted today bills to amend two education laws – the Law on the Foundations of the Education System and the Law on Secondary Education, which delay the introduction of the state matura exam until the 2028/2029 school year.
The government members also adopted the Conclusion on establishing the basis for concluding an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Italian Republic on cooperation in the fight against drugs.
This agreement outlines the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in activities within the framework of preliminary or criminal proceedings at a technical-operational level, concerning the collection of evidence in accordance with relevant laws on drugs and criminal offences related to chemical precursors, the seizure of smuggled drugs, as well as the dismantling of transnational organised criminal groups.
The agreement is to be signed to enhance coordination and support for activities carried out within the framework of preliminary or criminal proceedings in the fight against trafficking in narcotic drugs and chemical precursors.
