Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Jelena Begović stated today that the World Summit on Artificial Intelligence (AI Action Summit) in Paris discussed the use of artificial intelligence and that Serbia was recognised as a country dedicated to supporting new technologies and their development.

Begović stated that at today's final event of this summit in Paris, world leaders presented their views on how artificial intelligence should be regulated and developed, adding that among the speakers were United States Vice President JD Vance, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, French President Emmanuel Macron and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Minister emphasised that the message of the Paris Summit is that artificial intelligence is a technology that has already begun to change the world and that all countries are invited to be part of this journey.
Begović stated that she is proud that Serbia is part of the story of the development of artificial intelligence, the importance of which she recognised back in 2016.
