Ristić emphasised that the signed document covers the fields of ICT, information security, e-commerce, e-government and the development of artificial intelligence.
He stated that an agreement was reached to form working groups as early as next week to define mechanisms for intensifying cooperation in the fields of IT, postal traffic, e-commerce and e-government.
Appreciating the exceptional results that Iran has achieved in many areas, our initiative is to further develop economic cooperation and jointly develop electronic services for our citizens and businesses, as well as to motivate the two countries’ businesses to jointly operate in third markets, the Minister explained.
Ristić expressed gratitude and confirmed Iran’s participation in Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade.
Hashemi said that Iran is interested in working together on improving and building data centres, as well as developing advanced technologies and artificial intelligence, noting that there is also an option to cooperate in the field of information security.
According to him, the signed memorandum has laid a solid foundation for implementing joint projects in several important areas, as well as for exchanging knowledge and encouraging investments.
