Popović expressed gratitude to Nijimbere for the principled and friendly position of the Republic of Burundi on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija, as well as for abstaining regarding the Srebrenica resolution.
The support that Burundi provides to the territorial integrity of Serbia is invaluable, especially at a time when our country is facing numerous external challenges, Popović emphasised.
The interlocutors confirmed the strong friendly relationship between the two countries, as well as the commitment to continue strengthening economic cooperation in various areas.
