In addition to Prime Minister Vučević, the wreath laying ceremony was also attended by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Siniša Mali, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environmental Protection Irena Vujović, Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Đedović Handanović, Minister of Justice Maja Popović, Minister of Information and Telecommunications Dejan Ristić and Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Nemanja Starović.
The wreath laying ceremony was attended by Minister for European Integration Tanja Miščević, Minister for Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue Tomislav Žigmanov, Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Jelena Begović, Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Jelena Žarić Kovačević, Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarović and Minister of Sports Zoran Gajić.
The honour was also paid by Minister without Portfolio in charge of the area of international economic cooperation and the area of the social position of the church in the country and abroad Nenad Popović, Minister without Portfolio in charge of the area of improving the development of underdeveloped municipalities Novica Tončev and the Minister without Portfolio in charge of the coordination of activities and measures in the area of relations with the diaspora Đorđe Milićević.
Zoran Đinđić was assassinated on 12 March 2003, at the entrance to the government building.
