Born in 1975 in Peć. She earned her degree in economics.
She was first elected to the position of MP in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2013.
She is one of the founders of the Women’s Parliamentary Network and was an active member of this parliamentary forum, as well as several parliamentary delegations at international conferences and forums.
She actively participated in numerous initiatives aimed at improving the position of women and promoting their rights in society.
She served as Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and as President of the Ivica Dačić – Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) parliamentary group for two terms.
She was a member of the Permanent Delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union and President of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Japan.
She served as the Chair of the Committee on Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy, a member of the Committee on Kosovo and Metohija and the Committee on the Rights of the Child, and a deputy member of the Committee on Finance, the Republic Budget and Control of Public Expenditure and the Committee on Administrative-Budgetary and Mandate-Immunity Issues.
She has been a member of the Socialist Party of Serbia since 1992.
She was a member of the Main Board of the Socialist Party of Serbia for several terms, and since 2012 she has served as the Secretary of the Serbian Women’s Forum. Since 2017, she has served as a member of the Presidency of the Socialist Party of Serbia, and since 2024, she has held the position of Vice-President of the Socialist Party of Serbia.
