Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy
Born in 1981 in Novi Sad, where she attended school from elementary to higher education, earning a Master’s degree in Economics.
Throughout her 17-year work experience, across the private sector, banking and the public sector of the City of Novi Sad, she gained significant experience in the field of economics and finance, as well as in procedures necessary for the implementation of key infrastructure projects.
She started her 10-year career in the banking sector in 2008. In this sector, she gained many years of experience working on the financial consolidation of companies; drafting business, investment and operational plans and financial consolidation plans of companies; as well as five years of experience in the preparation of economic and financial expert reports for the purposes of conducting court proceedings before commercial and basic courts, as well as other mediation procedures and debtor-creditor settlements.
As a member of the Working Group of the City of Novi Sad, in 2014 she worked on professional rehabilitation and financial consolidation of several city public utility companies.
In 2018, she was appointed Assistant Mayor of Novi Sad for finance.
In September 2020, she was elected a member of the City Council of the City of Novi Sad for the area of budget, finance and investments.
In April 2018, she was appointed President of the Managing Board of the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency.
Since May 2024, she has served as Minister of Economy, and since November 2024, she has also acted as Minister of Internal and Foreign Trade.
She speaks English.
