Minister of Domestic and Foreign Trade Tomislav Momirovic said today that the selection of Serbia as the host of the EXPO 2027 international exhibition is a great victory for our country and a sign of the great trust shown to us by the countries that voted for it.

This is a great victory for our country, a great victory for our politics, this is a great sign of the trust shown to us by the countries that gave Serbia an advantage over our competitors in this race, in which the goal was to get the organisation of a world-famous and recognised event like is EXPO 2027, Momirovic said.
Our competitors in this race that are also our friends – Spain, the United States, Argentina and Thailand – also had good presentations and performances. I congratulate them as well, the Minister emphasised and stated that EXPO 2027 will be the biggest event that has ever happened in our country.
This event will generate billions of euros of investment in our economy, it will generate millions of visitors, which automatically means more jobs for our industry.
EXPO 2027 will increase the recognition of Serbia throughout the planet to a level that we cannot even dream of at the moment. Serbia is ready to host everyone who will come to the EXPO in 2027, Momirovic stressed.
