Serbia has been chosen to host the renowned world’s fair Expo 2027, winning all four rounds of voting at the General Assembly of the International Bureau of Expositions (BIE) in Paris.

Serbia received the largest number of votes in all four rounds, and in the last round Serbia’s only opponent was Spain.
Our country was one of the five candidates for the organisation of this fair, along the United States of America, Thailand, Spain and Argentina, and during the vote representatives of China supported the delegation of Serbia, with whom they cheered together.
