Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić, stressed today in a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, that there is significant potential for connecting the two countries in the fields of trade and agriculture, as well as education and defence.

Đurić also stated that the World in Serbia programme is an additional opportunity for linking the two countries and peoples in the field of education, considering that students from Nigeria are beneficiaries of scholarships under this programme.
He expressed hope that Nigeria will be one of the countries that will participate in Specialised Expo 2027, which will be hosted by Serbia.
