Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dušan Kozarev stated today in a conversation with Minister of Sports of the Republic of Benin Benoît Dato, that sport, as an area of national importance for both countries, is an excellent platform for further improving all other forms of bilateral cooperation, especially in the fields of education, culture and economy.

Expo 2027 opportunity for Benin to showcase its culture, sports tradition

In this context, Kozarev specifically pointed out the student scholarship project “The World in Serbia”, which is already being successfully implemented, and invited young athletes from Benin to visit team sports camps in Serbia.
The Secretary General assessed that Specialised Expo 2027, hosted by Belgrade, will be a real opportunity for Benin to present its rich culture and sports tradition.
