Among them are married couples Saša Veličković and Jelena Todorović, professional physiotherapists, who are returning from Germany to work at the Leskovac General Hospital, and Almina Košuta and Kemal Trtovac, who also worked in Germany and will now be employed at the Tutin Health Centre.
A contract was also awarded to nurse Aleksandra Atanasijević, who is returning from France to Kosovo and Metohija with her fiancé Aleksa Kovačević, with both now to work at the Gnjilane Health Centre, Pasjane Outpatient Clinic.
Contracts were also handed to Dr Ivan Brzaković, who, after 15 years of work in Montenegro, is returning to the University Clinical Centre of Serbia, and nurse Maja Purić, who is returning from Sweden to the Jagodina General Hospital.
Aleksandra Gvojić also secured employment and will continue her career at the Inđija Public Health Centre after working in Germany, while special education teacher Tanja Đorđević is returning to the country for a professional engagement within the newly established Centre for Early Childhood Development following 25 years of work in Norway.
At the end of last year, the Ministry of Health opened a dedicated office for cooperation with Serbian healthcare professionals working abroad, which has so far facilitated the employment of more than 75 healthcare workers in domestic medical institutions.
