Vučević pointed out that this is directly related to the five areas of action that the President of Serbia presented yesterday in his address, namely the return to the state before the unilateral moves of the government of Albin Kurti, the declaration of Kosovo and Metohija as an area of special social protection, further strengthening of Serbian institutions on Kosovo and Metohija and not allowing them to be extinguished.
Also, as he emphasised, it is very important to form a separate or special Prosecutor's Office that will prosecute all perpetrators of criminal acts related to what is happening in Kosovo and Metohija.
He noted that a request will be sent to the Serbian Parliament to declare invalid, i.e., illegal, all acts that are contrary to the agreements between the negotiating parties since the declaration of the so-called Kosovo.
Therefore, everything that seemed unilateral, everything that annulled agreements and efforts does not exist for us, it is invalid, non-binding and cannot produce legal effect, Vučević underlined.
He also reported that the government adopted a conclusion ordering the Ministry of Defence to urgently initiate the procedure for the reinstatement of mandatory military service for a duration of 75 days.
The Prime Minister expressed the expectation that by the end of next week the government will adopt a proposal to amend the law that will abolish the suspension of mandatory military service, but defines it for 75 days, noting that the President of Serbia will also be invited to the government session in his capacity as commander-in-chief.
