The Ministry of Defence announced that a three-week international course for United Nations staff officers was successfully implemented, organized by the Centre for Peacekeeping Operations of the Serbian Armed Forces, at the South base near Bujanovac.

The course was attended by members of the Serbian Armed Forces, the Ministry of the Interior and armed forces from nine foreign countries.
In accordance with the training program, they underwent theoretical and practical content related to the most important aspects of the functioning of integrated United Nations missions, the planning process in the military component and staff functions and procedures, and they had the opportunity to hear direct experiences from engagement in current peacekeeping operations.
The Peacekeeping Operations Centre is certified by the United Nations Integrated Training Service to conduct this course.
