Minister for Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue Tomislav Žigmanov today spoke with Head of Office of the Council of Europe Mission to Belgrade Janos Babity about the continuation of cooperation and possible joint activities in the coming period.

On this occasion, Žigmanov emphasised that he highly values the partnership with the Council of Europe, and expressed his gratitude to Babity for the further technical and expert support offered in activities within the scope of the work of the relevant ministry, which contribute to the improvement of human and minority rights, as well as the development of gender equality and anti-discrimination policies.
Participants in the meeting discussed possible joint activities in the aforementioned areas of social life, and also discussed the marking of International Roma Day, as well as cooperation during the Month of Roma Activism.
Babity underlined that the Council of Europe Office to Belgrade is at the Ministry's disposal to support the planned activities.
